Fit one AA alkaline battery into the first car and two AAA alkaline batteries into the second car; batteries are sold separately. Connect the cars and set the train on the track. Choose a speed with the switch, or turn it off to move the train manually. For automatic stopping and button-start play, use the included half-stop rail. Press the sound button to cycle through chimes, announcements, and the horn; press and hold the button to switch off the two chimes. Keep small parts away from children under 3 years.

Wipe the train and rail clean and keep them in a dry place when not being used. Gently handle the cars and rail when joining or separating them. Take out the batteries if the train will remain unused for a long time.
