Description
The Takara Tomy Plarail Shinkansen 60th Anniversary Hikari Set celebrates the early history of Japan’s Shinkansen and Plarail with two train models. The set features the 0 Series Shinkansen Hikari No. 1 and the Plarail Super Express Hikari, plus a commemorative ticket card reproduction honoring the Shinkansen’s opening.
Each train has two-speed operation, and the cars can be joined together or separated for interactive play. Turn the switches off to enjoy manual play, or use separately sold AA batteries for powered operation. Rails are not included, and the reproduced ticket card is not valid for travel.

How to use
To run either train with power, place one separately purchased AA battery in each train and fasten the battery compartment lid with its screw. Select one of the two speeds with the switch, or turn the train off for manual play. Rails are not included. The commemorative ticket card is a reproduction and is not valid as a ticket.
