Favorite Goji Look Finally Gets SHMA Treatment

One of the most iconic looks for the King, and my personal favorite suit. When I think of Godzilla, this is what instantly pops in my head. Just so classic and so much personality from Nakajima San’s performances during this era. Biases aside, this figure is truly phenomenal! The sculpt, paint, and articulation are nearly flawless. You can even move his tongue! In a rare event, I think the final in-hand product actually looks better than the prototype (aside from the paint job on toes). The second Gigan-damaged head was a welcomed addition, but would have appreciated an atomic breath accessory as well. The sculpt actually looks closer to ‘71 Goji than ‘72 (missing angry-looking eyes of ‘72) but it’s the same suit so not too upset about that. Minor complaints aside, this figure is truly fantastic and my favorite SHMA figure next to Gigan thus far. Will certainly be cherished for years to come. Now we just need a ‘68 or ‘72 Anguirus for him to be buddies with. More Showa representation in the SHMA line is a must!
