Kaiyodo Hatsune Miku Goldfish Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure 36cm Kimono

Hatsune Miku takes on an elegant goldfish-inspired look in this large-scale 1/7 figure from Kaiyodo. Based on an original illustration created by ATDan and Hanasa at Kaiyodo's request, the design depicts Miku floating through a dreamlike space where air and water appear to blend together.

Her flowing hair, red Chinese-inspired kimono and surrounding goldfish create a strong sense of movement, while the wide sleeves and fin-shaped hem give the figure a light, drifting appearance. Clear parts finished with pearl paint add gloss and translucency to the goldfish and fabric details.

Special attention has also been given to Miku's face, with 12-color pad printing used around the eyes to reproduce the vivid look of the original illustration. Standing approximately 360 mm tall including the base, the figure is designed as a substantial display piece with a wide, dynamic silhouette.

Rather than using one of Hatsune Miku's standard costume designs, Goldfish Ver. is based on a newly commissioned illustration by ATDan and Hanasa built around the goldfish motif, traditionally associated with good fortune.

The figure combines a bright red Chinese-style kimono with gold ornamentation, printed goldfish patterns and a hem shaped to resemble flowing goldfish fins. Kaiyodo also uses clear parts with pearl paint to create a translucent, water-like finish across the composition.

Another standout detail is the facial printing. The eye area uses 12-color pad printing to reproduce the bright, intricate appearance of the original artwork, while the pose and flowing costume are sculpted to give Miku a suspended, almost weightless appearance.
